Country music star and "Dancing with the Stars" performer Julianne Hough ripped her Zuhair Murad dress as she took the stage of the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards -- but the excitement didn't stop there with Carrie Underwood taking home two awards!

Later on in the show, Carrie accepted the awards for Top Female Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year, beating Kenny Chesney who has taken home Entertainer of the Year four years in a row.

Taylor was then presented with an award from ACM host Reba McEntire for being the top-selling artist in country and pop music.

Nicole Kidman's husband Keith Urban was amongst the performers of the evening, in addition to Carrie and Miley Cyrus. Other celebrities to show up at the ACM Awards included Matthew McConaughey, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy.

An aspiring entertainer from an early age, 10-year-old Hough left her Utah home to study at London's Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts; her efforts paid off when she became the first U.S.-born dancer to be crowned International Latin Youth Champion and Junior Blackpool World Latin Champion. From there she joined the DWTS tour as a company dancer. In a 42nd Street-like twist, when lead dancer Kym Johnson injured herself, Hough replaced her, twirling across the country with Season 1 DWTS contestant Joey MacIntyre.
