Raelene Aguilar, Miss New Mexico USA and the former Miss New Mexico Teen USA 2000 is in the news today because she was arrested on April 2, 2009, at approximately 3:48 a.m. for allegedly driving under the influence near El Paso,Texas. She was booked in the county jail and later released on $600 bond a few hours later but not before leaving behind a very attractive mug shot.
In an interview with TMZ, president of the Miss Universe Organization Paula Shugart said:
“She has our deepest sympathies and we’re hoping she can make it through this difficult time. She’s a good person.”
As a biography, Raelene Aguilar was born on June 29, 1981 in El Paso, Texas so her age is 26. She attended the University of Texas at El Paso. Her measurements are 5′9″ tall. She was Miss New Mexico Teen USA 2000. She competed in the Miss USA 2008 contest as Miss New Mexico USA, but did not reach the final top 15.
She is also actively involved in charities including The American Heart Association, Boys and Girls’ Club, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation
Her hobbies include dancing, reading, personal fitness, golf, cooking.
