Lacey Chabert

Lacey Nicole Chabert (born September 30, 1982) is an American actress and vocal performer, best known for her roles as Claudia Salinger in the television drama Party of Five and as Gretchen Wieners in the movie Mean Girls. Chabert made her start as young Cosette in Les Misérables on Broadway. Chabert then landed the role of Bianca Montgomery on the ABC soap opera All My Children in 1993. Chabert played in Hometown Legend as Rachel Sawyer.

Since 1998, she has been the voice of Eliza Thornberry in the animated series The Wild Thornberrys, and has voiced Eliza in two movies, The Wild Thornberrys Movie (2002) and Rugrats Go Wild! Chabert won the 2005 MTV Movie Award for Best On-Screen Team for Mean Girls, shared with Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, and Amanda Seyfried. Chabert was featured as cover girl of the January 2007 issue of Maxim.

Introduction
For a child actress who grew up on the TV screen, Lacey Chabert is a well grounded person. Although she’s not necessarily a box office draw, she successfully carved out a successful career as a character actress and she’s not on heroin.

Life Story
Born and raised in Purvis, Mississippi she moved to California with her family when she was cast in the TV drama Party of Five alongside Neve Campbell and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Since the Party ended, Chabert has been in a number of films and television shows, most notably Not Another Teen Movie (2001) and Daddy Day Care (2003). Her career got a booster shot when she joined forces with Rachel McAdams, Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Seyfried in Mean Girls (2005). More recently she worked with Katie Cassidy, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead in Black Christmas (2006), or as it was known in Canada, “Noël noir” as well as voicing Elise in the video game Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). Lacey has also done voice over work for the Saturday morning cartoon The Spectacular Spider-Man. She will be seen in number of upcoming films including Reach for Me (2008), Sherman's Way (2008), In My Sleep (2008), and The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) which will also star mega hotties Noureen DeWulf, Jennifer Garner, and Emma Stone.
